Trendwatch is an ongoing series of short unsettling videos examining such current trends as New Time, modes and operation of the A-CS unit, and nausea in the workplace. (No jumpscares. Loud high-pitched beeping at times.)

This is a really cool storytelling style. In my opinion the sort of '90s low-budget marketing / business orientation promo style fits the narrative better in some episodes than others, but overall I like the minimalist storytelling that gives more of a feel for what's happening/happened than a concrete narrative. I like the animation style, and for some of the more on-the-nose '90s promo style ones it's really spot on. Reminds me a bit of the onboarding/orientation video I had to watch at my very first job.

Very nicely done. Low key. Classic cheesy music. Gently ominous slogans.

And what is it with 3 and 11?

Thank you for sharing this, solarion.

These are well done. I just wish that they didn't spoil their own joke with the lame "[ Creepy Analog Horror / Sci-fi Series ]" tag in the video titles and descriptions.

These are a very new addition, actually - when I first watched it a couple of weeks ago they did not have the tag. Definitely detrimental, though I begrudgingly accept experimenting with Youtube's algorithm.

Some real virtuoso use of cutting the video just as crucial information is about to be presented in this.

I guess we'll never know what the Safety B.A.S.I.C.S are (though I'm pretty sure B is for Breathe Normally, which is usually good advice.)
