I've been catching bits of this here and there for the past couple of days. I feel like the smack talking part of the AI could probably be spun off into its own thing, but it mostly works with these two. Like I'd be kind of more interested in a "genuine" debate between the two AI instead of an insult contest. Amusing nonetheless, although I imagine the novelty will wear off sooner rather than later.

The verisimilitude problem with AI Trump is that he speaks in complete sentences that follow from what he was saying before.

Even if you trained it on only Trump’s speech, is that AI does not have the background of the myths and constructed worldview, that make Trump’s insinuations, allusions, and non-sequiturs understandable to his base.

Well, you can't say they underdid it. Jon Evil is right. Coherent speech is too uncanny valley. And Trump in real onstage life is truly, in the time honored words of Hunter S. Thompson, three iguanas in a feeding frenzy. He brings Philip K. Dick's Faith of Our Fathers to mind but not in a pleasant way. On the other hand that would make him a giant clanking monstrous clanking extraterrestrial if not extradimensional monster. Oh wait.
