The video for Wu-Tang Clan's Triumph superimposed a story of invasion by killer bees onto the one of greatest posse cuts of all time.

The Wu-Tang Manual on killer bees:
anthidium manicalcum: this is the most aggressive territorial bee known; male often kills any bee who enters his territory; this bee represents the core members of the Wu-tang clan; megachile willughbiella: comes from Kenya, an enormous family with thousands of species commonly called Mason Bees; they represent other artists and groups under the Wu-tang family

MetaFilter, but every time someone makes a bees post, someone makes another bees post.

When I first encountered this song, the previous not-actual-bees killer bees in my life were the early 80s Miami Dolphins "Killer Bees" with the likes of Kim Bokamper. When Wu-Tang stepped on the scene with 9(!) emcees it was like no way can that be workable. But they did it, and even expanded on it with additional affiliate members and even spinoff groups. Can it be that it was all so simple?
