Hah this is way better than it should be, the Ed People people really keep it fun!

I think I've done some of the more subdued ones while I was feeling blurry back in the day, little did I know they were traditional ethnic dances!

Yes, I love how he finds a way to embody the movements of so many styles. It's pretty much my dream job!

I enjoy these so much. He absolutely goes for it, but never loses sight of the people he's dancing with.

I am jealous of people who have dance moves that they do with friends or learned from their parents.

Lovely. Anyone know where it was filmed?

Anyone know where it was filmed?
I would love to believe it was all in one place -because my reaction would then be "...because I want to go there right now!" - in reality it looks like a few European places: London, Brussels, Madrid, Prague, Amsterdam maybe.

Lovely. Anyone know where it was filmed?

From googling some of the the signage it looks like he is in the Belgian city Ghent.

This is the most charming thing I have seen on the internet today! Thank you for the lovely post. I am a terrible dancer but I love watching other people dance.

That was so much fun! I don't know anything about him, so maybe he has a dance background, but amazes me that he could follow along so easily for some of the more complicated ones. As someone with two left feet, I'm impressed!

yes, that's Ghent. I recognized it from the shots outside Amadeus, the place where you could get all the rib you want for the bargain price of 20 euro. I lived in Ghent for a few years, during which I did not invent, but did perfect, the dance move known as the 'Power Grab.' Briefly, the Power Grab consists of raising your arm and pulling it down while making a fist as if you are saying 'Yes! Yes! God! Yes!' in slow motion for all eternity. The only appropriate time to use the Power Grab is when Steve Perry sings "Don't stop believin'" on the song "Don't stop believin'" by the band Journey.

I regret that during my time in Ghent I was never asked to demonstrate the Power Grab for an internet audience, so I had to give free demos on the weekly at bar des amis.

I also recognized Ghent, I've been there several times for work. Excellent destination, it's not as crowded as say Bruges, but has a lot of sights.

I loved the video, and especially those who danced with their parents.

Same! What would I do if I were put on the spot? One hop this time?
