90s Time Traveler Discovers Apple Vision Pro [5:14 YT] Another series by Pitch Meeting’s Ryan George. (Seriously, the eyes are creepy so be prepared.)

90s Time Traveler Discovers Meta’s THREADS App is the previous one. The series has six episodes total.

Ryan George is best known for Pitch Meeting.

One of his most popular Pitch Meetings is for the movie Cats (4.5M views). He claims more people have seen the Pitch Meeting than the actual movie Cats. (Not verified.) Ryan George revisted his Cats Pitch Meeting a while back.

I really, honestly truly wish that Cats had been a good movie. It's a worthwhile project that maybe could be filmed well? It's not really a musical; it's a dance recital with people singing the music people are dancing to.

What's sad about the film Cats is that is shows the people who were making it had absolutely ZERO understanding of the source material on any deep level at all. It feels like the result of cynical capital fund investment and interest group polling.

I guess it's good that it wasn't even middle level successful because the film can be buried as Not Good and maybe someone someday can make a quality film out of that musical with the well not being tainted by having a Well Known Bad Musical in its past. Sometimes if your failure is so bad that nobody sees it, that's a blessing.

When I first started seeing Ryan George and his pitch meetings on youtube years ago, they seemed clunky and obvious, milking the conceit of script pitch and executive in the same actor... But they've become a favorite, I'll guffaw at how he'll draw out some absurdity in a movie I never noticed, or of course make his catch-phrases turn up in different unexpected ways

The Cats Pitch Meeting was the first one I saw and is still my favorite one.

My boss took me to see Cats on my 10th anniversary of working with her...Then off to the Russian
Tea Room for Chicken Kiev and desserts. When I recently started watching the movie I could only get through roughly 10 minutes of it...What a disaster! Thanks Hollywood!

I would have been so down with making a post for the Pitch Meeting for Cats, which as mentioned, is my fave one. It is a worthy subject! This post is also hilarious if anyone wanted to watch it too. Hehe

All of George's content I've seen is pretty great, the pitch Meetings are usually quite funny.

I keep wondering why he hasn't been snatched up by som bigger production company. He's gotten quite good and is pretty consistently funny. their loss is our gain, I suppose.

Opportunity missed for the time travelling guy reporter to mention to the 90s host that there's an actual Top Gun sequel that's good, and people consider Batman movies to be pretty high cinema.
