this is great.

I can't think of Blue Man Group without thinking of Arrested Development. If that one gag was the only claim to fame, it would be enough.

Happy to see this here. Andrew Huang is great, and I follow his YouTube channel. It's cool to see him with the Blue Man Group.

mittens: I think he grew it out soon after the baby was born. Not an uncommon thing (happened to me too)

I think my favourite thing he does is the annual First of October album with Rob Scallon, who is also pretty great. 2022's version: Andrew, Rob.

It's an ad for a lot of things: Blue Man Group still perform in Vegas all the time, Andrew Huang is always doing self-promotion, REI is definitely listed as a product, but also is the desert retreat where the outdoors scenes were filmed.

I'm a BMG fan and occasional watcher of Andrew's videos and this was a lot of fun. I love how the Blue Men stay in character even "behind the scenes".

Also I don't know how many of BMG's songs are written by non-blue people, but I have to say Andrew totally nailed their style of composition and made a catchy BMG song!

My main exposure to Blue Man Group was that I saw their How To Be A Rock Star tour, maybe the 2.0 version? It was an arena tour and it was pretty exhilarating. It was a different flavor of Blue Man Group from their normal theater shows, and the accompanying album [YT playlist] had some pretty good covers and some pretty good original songs.

I can't tell you how bothered I am that it was probably 20 years ago that I saw this tour.

The problem with Blue Man going camping is that the support staff is like 30 people. Also, the paint gets everywhere.

What do you mean paint?

Blue Man Group are a collective of aliens from another planet who are struggling to comprehend our society and how noise works on our planet.

There is no blue paint involved. They are blue because that's how people look where they come from.
