This has a very similar vibe to BUTT magazine. I don't know if it's still in print but it looks like it's still going on the web. I read the BUTT Book, a best-of compilation, years ago and it definitely informed my queer sensibilities in a way that no other gay/queer publication ever had. If you can find it for a not-exorbitant price it's worth checking out

Nice to see the CBC write about this.

I also think this does feel a lot like Butt, both the look of the photos and the tenor of the writing. That's praise from me, not a criticism. Butt in its heydey was fantastic and I'm glad to see more thoughtful gay content.

Butt is back as well, after a break from 2011 to 2022. Issue number 30 is the first new one.

It’s still in print, my friend is an editor and there are a bunch of recent copies in my living room.
