YAHOOGLE!!
Your average weblogger's favorite search engine makes the big time (and they just hit a billion pages indexed, too). Will success spoil the Googs?

I saw the G I G A logo this morning, and I thought: "Hey! metafilter's over 2200 links strong. Should I add a 'B I - K I L O' logo to the interface?"

As for inktomi losing its biggest customer, I just hope the investors pulled out before Monday's announcements.

Maybe I should post this somewhere else, but you COULD say:
"2K or Not 2K"

Of course, you're just counting the number of original posts. How many links are embedded in comments, etc.?

I read that Yahoo! accounts for only 2% of Inktomi's revenues...maybe not such a big thing for them? Of course, losing a marquee account is never a good thing. I'm just excited to experience that gooey Google goodness when I search over at Yahoo!

Hmmm... someone tell me this:

Any meaning to the fact that they've quit putting the page rank indicator up there in the searches?

Maybe this is linked to the fact that I got a "News:" link above the web links in my search for Miranda Warning this morning.

Perhaps they don't *want* us thinking too much about page-rank? The new press release failed to mention it, too...
