Buy Douglas Adams' tent What I really want is his towel.
Sounds like a great way to get rid of stuff for a tidy bit of profit. I wish he had some kind of proof that this was, in fact, Douglas Adams' tent (a photo of the two of them together, for instance).

You want a 33 year old nasty towel? I've got one that's five years old I'll sell you for $500. I get your point though.
Seriously, you've gotta be one heck of a fan to kick down $1000 for his tent.
I wonder how Adams' would feel about his buddy selling it from profit on eBay?

I had no idea eBay had a "totally bizarre" category. Cool.
And yeah, if I was independently wealthy, I'd pick it up. The Hitchhikers Guide books opened my mind up to amazing possibilties back in 6th grade.

"Not FPP material, methinks."
I disagree. A fun little post, and an interesting heads-up for DNA fans.
