Shirt happens

Looking for a good dress shirt? A funny, informative (and slightly old) article about what to look for in a dress shirt.
Good, informative article. Thanks. (Also: "Take heed people! For fucks sake, please take heed people. Yes, I'm talking to you. Check the collar size before you buy a shirt, you look like an idiot. A blue, slightly suffocated idiot at that.")

Christmas is just around the corner. . . I would look good in one of these, mebbe. (Even though the one suit I own cost about half of what this shirt does.)

If you’re starting each day this way, you’re either a cocky bastard or European, and lucky for you, we admire both types. For an American, though, it’s worth waiting until after lunch before you slip that second button.
Great stuff. Thank you.

Now let's talk about the funny, funny people who buy expensive designer label suits and still have fake buttonholes at the coat cuffs.

To continue Jfuller's aside: I have one sport coat (or is it a suit? -- need to check the closet later) with real button holes on the sleeves. It's utterly unnecessary yet I am strangely enamored with it -- being the functionalist that I am -- and I love to occassionally unbotton them and give the sleeves a little roll-up. Then I roll them back down.
