A nice idea, although for these things to be truly successful the content has to be a little more compelling. Having said that I was about to purchase one anyway cos I have a bunch of cash in Paypal, and they are hand bound and I love stuff like that, but then I realised they only deal with US/Canada. Disappointing!

So now we brew our own pepsi. It's too bad it's a zine. I would have liked to have seen the content.

Well, merely printing up your own large-run magazine is costly enough at Kinkos/Staples/Etc., I can't imagine a hand-bound version. I would suggest they check out Lulu.com and various other printing sites to release it (though the hand-bound thing is an attraction).

or you could pop over to wnymusic.com and ask Renee (ex of Palomar Sky Survey, from Buffalo, NY) for her story. The Warren Commission and The Disappointments are also Buffalo. Weird to see a 'local' (to me) link on mefi.

This is a really interesting idea for a 'zine. I voted for it in mefi projects (and am finding out how much it is to get it sent to the UK), but I didn't click for it to go on Mefi, just because there was a lack of content on the site; a few extracts from the interviews would make it more suitable FPP material in my opinion.

I'll be interested to see what 'Oh, Blast!' will release in the future though.

Hey guys. Thanks for the comments about the zine. to answer a few questions: We can ship to other Countries, we just never thought anyone would ever want one from outside of US or Canada.

The reason for 20 Copies: It's a very limited edition of the hand-bound zine. If you saw the thing, you would understand. It took about 30 minutes to make each copy and they are bound in cloth and each come with a nifty 1" button.

We are considering releasing a cheap print version, but we don't really have the demand quite yet!

We got a few more projects up our sleeves as well in the next few months, just gotta finish em. Some postcards and some neat 1" buttons and stuff like that.

Thanks for the comments everyone. It's nice to have people actually reading our zine!
