For such a silly concept, that was surprisingly striking. Love it.

Nevermind, it's right on the site. RTFA, Uther.

Ah, I was trying to figure out what the deal was with the sound but then I realized I was watching it on YouTube and WMP... a real loler.

I don't know...I'm not quite feelin this one....alone because the scenes seem much more about getting the voice-over dubs right above actually giving the trailer a sense of continuity.

Yeah, that was kind of my reaction too. The voice-overs match the mouths very well, but the dialog doesn't hang together. It doesn't make a coherent statement of what the 'movie' is about.
For all the work they put into that, the only thing I came away with was "Cowgirl bad".
It's technically excellent, but didn't do what it was supposed to do.... tell a mini story.

Neither does Requiem for a Dream.

Pretty interesting, made moreso by the inclusion of a song by Brad Sucks, a DIY one-made-band type guy. His stuff isn't bad. I'm sure he's been discussed on Metafilter before.

That was brilliant. The Shining trailer re-mix was a simple voiceover with a new music overlay. This was an order of magnitude more complicated.

Seed, you losers!
;^)
Well... comparisons to Shining are moot... apples and oranges. This was a different kind of endeavor, and every bit as good in its own way. Maybe better, in that I actually felt something (embarrassingly enough).

You're aware that this was originally from a Videoedit contest on Fark, right?
Hope that doesn't ruin it for anybody ;)

For those without torrenting skills.
I thought it was kinda lame, but I've been cranky of late.
