What a cool idea. I was there a month or so ago and took pictures of the shadows cast by Le Mont St. Michel, thinking how cool a sundial it would make, but never actually believing someone would go through the effort.

The cookies by La Mère Poulard, which has its home at Le Mont St. Michel, are yummy and ubiquitous in France. I recommend them if you like shortbread.
