ha! Whoo! You do know what this means?
We'll all get to work in one of these places.
(and we as in the human race)

This seems to have as much validity asphrenology.
The "scientist" makes the claim that great danes and tall children both are prone to bone cancer, inferring something about big creatures being a bit shit in a genetic sense.
Equally, I say big animals like whales, elephants, etc live way longer than mice and cats.
I don't think either statement has any validity.
I'm not wholly sure if this is bad science or bad writing, I suspect it's a bit of both.

I read an interesting hypothesis in New Scientist a while back that people with greater mass are more likely to develop cancer due to the greater number of cells in their body (either through random developmental mutation or external radiation), and when they fall down they hit the ground with a greater force.
This would of course have to be checked out by any number of statistical tests.

Even if I do lose a few years for being a little taller than average, I feel I've made up for it by not wasting time looking at the back of other people's heads in movie theaters and at concerts.
If the choice is between a long life and a long life, I'll take the former.

I'm short, which means I'll live longer (YAY!), but I'm left-handed, which means I'll die younger (BOO!). Do they cancel each other out?
