StoryTime is a site created based on netizen news' layout where hopefully people will go and post memories and the like. It's actually pretty theraputic. (i know linkin your own work is discouraged - I wouldn't link it here 'cept I put a lot of work into it and no besides myself has thusfar posted.)
Actually, Zebulun... a self-link of this sort would have been a great submission to Kindall's Mefi-Projects newsletter.

i wasn't familiar with that list - i just subscribed now.
as for the width, running at 800x600, the only thing cut off is all the extra garbage on the right. I was going to reduce it at one time, but i figured that for the most part, people are content to see the content and wouldn't be adverse to scrolling right to see the updated-weekly items (like mp3, poll, etc)
i don't think i've ever pimped my own site here, but i figured that this would be something i would link here even if i wasn't the creator

Maybe, maybe not. I'm signing up on it right now, but I can't see how it's much different to any other community blog. Still, we shall see!

perhaps it wont be. though, mine includes posting abilities to both netizen news and storytime, a geocities style web account, and even web based email upon any members request.

Yep, it's nice and all that, but I kinda happen to think mine is nice too. I'm sure SapphireBlue thinks hers is nice, as does dhartung, thirteen or any of the other 7000 members here. Take your pick.
Convince a friend to post your site on the front page if you want, but please don't do it yourself. I could get real ugly, real fast.

Well, *I* already am real ugly, but *It* would have been my intention. Even previewed too.

Harmless error, Zebulun... but it _did_ gave me the opportunity to bring to everyone's attention Kindall's newsletter (and in context, too!).

Your poll should include a 'I never see the police' option.. I've seen two cop cars driving in my town over the last year, but haven't spoken to, or met, a cop since I was 6 or 7. The only cops I see are those hauling people over for speeding.
I would -really- love it if this site would work at anything under 900 pixels wide or so. I run at 1280x1024, but my browser is usually at 800 width, oh well. Perhaps I'll contribute. Good luck.
