I just this second started watching what looks like a shitty movie called "Lost Souls" on CityTV here in Toronto and clicked play on your song just as the opening credits were rolling and you wouldn't believe how perfectly it synced up and worked with the score. Don't know what that means but there you go. One of those things.

Relating to perelman's suggestion: I had a friend in college who vehemently hated condensation on glasses, windows, etc. Every time she had a cold drink, she was constantly wiping her glass down with napkins. She wouldn't pick up the glass unless the outside was totally dry.
