2022 NZ Aquarium Penguin of the Year

Its that time of the year again (3 days and change days left)..... For the 5th year, vote for your favourite penguin at the National Aquarium of New Zealand. Will Mo win again or will newbie Marina be the favourite?

Winner will be announced Wednesday 14 September. Check out NZ Aquarium's FB for more info on the candidates as well as a sneak peak on the top 6 contenders so far (a new feature this year). I personally am a Dora Fan. Previously and Previously

Dora's my favorite too, but it was a tough choice. All the penguins are winners.

The NZ Aquarium also does the Good and Naughty Penguin of the Month. It's a format that has been adopted by other venues such as cat cafes.

I don't want to pick one penguin over another! They're all cutie pies and have been through a lot.

The reason for "Burny" being the name though :( Geeeeeeeez, pick something else.

As someone who also wants to stay in bed all day, I voted for Dora.

I find it soothing to watch the scroll of voting tidbits on the globe under the countdown clock. Someone in Belgium just voted for Martin. Dora is a favorite in Ukraine. Etc. Nice website design, someone!
