Can’t get enough of these videos from AsapSCIENCE. Here’s an earlier one from the Your Brain On Drugs series entitled marijuana. I was pretty stoned when watching it and ended up cracking up at the funny cats – total highlight for me. Can’t remember the gist, but you should definitely check it out. (Text Via) (slyt)

This is one of those situations where I can really help people because I read Metafilter. Only a few doors down, at this thread, the article was talking about this:

Flumazenil, originally made by Roche Pharmaceuticals in Basel, Switzerland, is not a commonly used drug. The GABA blocker is typically given for benzodiazepine overdoses, and less frequently, for reversing the effects of anesthesia.

And now this post tells me that too much GABA is what messes me up when I'm drunk.

So I propose putting Flumazenil in all alcoholic beverages, for the good of humankind.

It's amazing how clear the mind becomes when you read every single Metafilter post.

I don't know about you, but every time I get stoned I have an irresistible urge to diagram my insights very quickly on a whiteboard, because those are some bitchin insights, you know.
