I tried to let this play in the background while I browsed other things but I just couldn't do it. They were having such a good time, I kept getting drawn back in.
I wish I could put them all in a room and be a fly on the wall, but this was almost as good. posted by Enron Hubbard at 10:00 AM on January 29
Listened to this last night, and thought it was really interesting. As someone who keeps an online journal, I was kind of fascinated by these bloggers considering their blogging something like writing a memoir. I'd never think to describe my journal as a blog, and I guess a big part of that is because I've internalized that blog = memoir (or media reviews, or something more specialist). My Dreamwidth journal is just stuff I feel like writing about (and fandom stuff). So it was interesting to hear about writers who are more aware that they are essentially writing a memoir in an interactive format. posted by yasaman at 11:32 AM on January 29
