Bisexual Buccaneers from Both-Ways Bay

This is my favourite bit:
Checking in from bisexual bay: The boats are nearly complete and are equipped with a special invisibility function. We attack at dawn.
If you take the last scene in the series finale of the Legend of Korra, you pretty much have a Dystopian Sexual Paradise, which also happens to have elemental bending powers. So basically what I'm saying....where's my Season 5 of Legend of Korra which focuses on Korra and Asami solving crimes?!!

This gives me hope for humanity! Not to mention tumblr.

Also, realizing that #KORRASAMI is a hash tag and an idea that originated primarily online through tumblr. It's a very powerful space/voice for people who feel disenfranchised, which includes the LGBTQ communities. So powerful that many have commented on the fact that the Legend of Korra altered their ending as a result of the fans. Very hopeful indeed!

So, is there any way to read tumbler posts on an iPhone? What I see is about 4 characters wide, after all the ...forwards?...which is super-hard to read.

leahwrenn, there is a tumblr app for both iOS and Android. Though I do believe you have to be member and register. But even if you have no interest in creating your own tumblr blog, you can just sign up and follow/like/read/etc.

Along with being homophobic, that post was also borderline incoherent. Wonder what the correlation is on that.

Pretty high, jonmc, pretty high. Most homophobes (/racists/misogynists/transphobes/anti-Semites) are pretty incoherent.

My favorite line is "have you ever seen lesbians around timber?"

I love the response, because I'm so prosaic that mine would have just been "You realize you're setting up an entirely unnatural situation to test your theory of what's 'natural', right?"

This is glorious

This sort of stuff happens on tumblr all the time. I wish I could find the latest re-blog of Are Fedoras Really That Bad?, 'cause I'm pretty sure that one is stretching out toward infinity, too.

Scaryblackdeath: here you go

Also generally speaking when you click the number of people who reblogged a post, it is in reverse chronological order. True, that it is also a tree, not a line, but it is possible to find more recent versions that way.

I like how the OP describes opinions as "false" and facts as "biased."

Would that this were true. A lot of transphobes in particular are very very good at seeming reasonable and intelligent to people who don't know better.

Keeping soylent straight island going is actually really easy. All we need to do is discover a cure for Kuru and then everything is all set.

Italicized bits from the OP:
And no, there is no such thing as a lesbian bone marrow “thing” to have children.
We agree.
That’s a biased fact that came from a lesbian scientist who has false opinions.
There is so much to unpack in this sentence. Let's start with "biased fact" - no, back up further, let's start with "fact": where the hell did you come across this fact? "Bone marrow 'thing'"? By 'thing' do you mean 'penis'? Or do you mean some other process of insemination? How does bone marrow come into it? Bone marrow produces blood, not sperm. Seriously, citation needed, kiddo. I would actually like to read about this bone marrow 'thing' because I cannot even imagine how it works. I can't even get past this idea to talk about what "biased", "fact", and "opinion" mean. Maybe I'm just not familiar enough with lesbian science.
If it’s not a real penis or vagina, then it’s fucking false and you’re just opinionated by dumb facts.
Ah, but it is still fucking.
I’m done here.
Are you?

Lesbiology? Replication by sheiosis?

Metafilter: you’re just opinionated by dumb facts

(honestly, I cannot even fathom what that sentence is supposed to mean.)

I can speak a little bit of idiot, though I'm not fluent, but let me try to translate that: "You have strong opinions which are based on false data."
