Sex Kitten

[ Wow, look at all the names in that thread. It's enough to tear one up. ]

I guess it's time to dust off this classic image of Kurt Cobain levitating a kitten with the fearsome power of his mind.

It's all done with drones nowadays.

We are getting two lovely Maine Coon kittens in about a month after an appropriate morning period having had to put down my dear Tipper, of twelve years, a few months ago from cancer. I love animals. Period. But I've had cats as pets throughout my adult life. (pictures of all, including Tipper, in a future Ask for cat names. Promise, no really, I promise...)

So yeah, I've got lots of cameras. I've got time. I'll soon have two rascals, and a month alone over the holidays. Gotta try to get some of this action.

Maine Coons are the best! My dear departed Missy the Cat was a polydactyl Maine Coon, and she was the height of awesome. Can't wait to see your new additions.

Because their cuteness causes relaxation AND because a sufficiently ferocious kitten attack can lead to shock and/or traumatic blood loss.

kittens can lower human blood pressure

I got a kitten three weeks ago who wakes me up every half hour, usually by attacking my feet or walking across my head. He has wrecked all of the mini-blinds in the apartment. He walks around and cries loudly, like he's starving. I disagree with your assertion.

One has to eat quite a few of them to achieve meaningful results, however.

Kittens have no respect for the Law of Gravity.

Former roommate of mine had an orange tabby who would weigh somewhere between 80 lbs and whatever neutral buoyancy with air is, totally at random (no changes in mass, just how much gravity pulled on him). It would be fun watching him try to walk across the room in high gravity mode, his legs getting wobbly as he got too heavy to take another step, but sooner or later, gravity would swing the other way on him. The time I walked in on him, floating 3 feet off the floor in a slow spin along his long axis, wriggling and curling because he had nothing to push off of to get back down to the floor, I don't know who was more confused, me or the cat.
