Delightful video. My wife, since her retirement, has become active in the League of Women Voters. Somewhat from a common source and along the same lines. But she doesn't make jam...

Ooooh, I can't wait to watch this!

I used to give talks at a lot of WI's scattered across South Wales. They are an absolutely remarkable organization -- especially in the Valleys towns, they're an incredibly strong, uniting community, and all the women I met were absolute powerhouses. (All of the groups in Cardiff were gently scolded at every meeting for being cliquish and unwelcoming, which I found a bit of a funny contrast.)

Only about two of them opened by singing Jerusalem, which was a bit sad, though.

I haven't watched this yet, but I wonder if she addresses the recent concerns about rural-urban focus? Telegraph link, and there may be a bit of bias or sub-text.

I absolutely adore Dr. Lucy Worsley! All her programs are top shelf, a real treat indeed! And I get a real kick when Dr. Lucy plays dress up!
I Can't wait to watch this one.

james33, she's recording a suffragettes thing now and is releasing a documentary about Elizabethan fireworks soon.
