so, ahh, I know there is no cabal...but whats the deal with samizdata and penguins? I did a quick search of their comments and didnt see any anti-penguin propaganda. also, what is the deal with penguins? what is their dark secret of which I am unaware? did they vote for trump??? do they support the nra????? do they wear white after labor day???????????????????????

I've seen every episode, but never saw PENGUINS.
Only Jan Michael Vincent and Chongo.

I go way back with penguins... actually, one particular penguin; this was from his 2003 comeback, not the 2015. And long before then, a girlfriend taught me to associate penguins with Ursula K. LeGuin (a non-Cockney rhyming slang thing) and I've never forgotten that. These days I live where otters are the local semi-aquatic cuties, but if I could import penguins to the California Central Coast I (and many of my neighbors) would.

I know it’s not at all the same thing, but there are some at the Monterey Aquarium. A couple years back, I took this picture of one gazing longingly out to sea from their habitat.
