Some guy in Japan has uploaded two videos that offered up a clever way to combine nudity and pendulums to create something utterly delightful (NSFW).
The post also links to Tom Rubnitz's "Pickle Surprise," which was new to me although not to MetaFilter: previously, previouslier.

There was an animated gif of the first video floating last week. I find this utterly delightful because the guy just seems so gleeful and stoked about the situation...like he's just happy it's working out how he envisioned it.

Zippy, he has a lapel mic connected to the bow tie in the back. I went down the naked pendulum dancing rabbit hole and found one where he messes up on live TV and drops to the floor and you can see it.

I've been to Little Beach on Maui and he definitely would have fit in there with this routine. Next he should replicate what we observed and called "The Helicopter".

I don't know what it says about my general perception but I genuinely saw a giant pendulum structure right in front of him. Really! I was actually thinking "Oh, that's a lot of trouble to go to to build a giant pendulum, what commitment to his art" even the first time he came up close to the camera.
And then he pushed the ball, and I was terribly confused, and then mental face-palm.
But having got over that shock, yes, the dancing bit was pure joy. Thanks!
