Homestar Runner Halloween 2018: Mr. Poofers Must Die, the story of a dog that no one can bring themselves to kill when telling a creepy ghost story.

In other internet Flash cartoon moved to YouTube news, the Tiny Fuppets are back with a new Halloween cartoon.

It makes me happy how consistently good hopscotch ruiner is even though it only updates so seldom. i feel like a lot of other artistic projects that end up moving past their main alive phase and instead dribble out content from time to time usually become pale ghosts of their former selves contentwise too, but not hummus reindeer. thanks, chaps!

I think it's actually become better now that the release schedule is more sporadic, it's meant they can spend longer and make every joke really work. Even little things, like Homestar's insistent "hey everybody"s when introducing Mr. Poofers, or the timing on the "We know!" to Strong Bad's lame joke.

And... Coach Z pronouncing Old Man Root Beer's name as "Oldmin Rut Ber."

And Mazipan's uncharacteristic annoyance. "Oh shut up Coach Z, you infant, I'll kill the stupid dog."

And "'Miffa Meeka!' said Mr. Poofers, out of his entire mouth."

The whole thing is well-crafted. Their time in Actual Hollywood writing for Gravity Falls and Aquabats has really honed their comedy skills!

I love everything about this. Homestar was such a huge part of my friend group's humor in the early 00s I consistently forget that virtually no one gets my continued references.

I don't see what's so hard.

Mr Poofers was playing when Old Man Root Beer came toward him with a machete. As he approached Mr. Poofers, he pulled his arm back to swing and when he was almost right on top of Mr. Poofers he struck ... chopping off some pinecones into his pinecone bag. Then Mr. Poofers grabbed the bag and ran off with Old Man Root Beer shaking his fist saying, "Oh you Mr. Poofers!"

Gah!
