A Short Yikes!

Adam Robinson-Yu, creator of A Short Hike (previously), has a new free game out for Halloween: Mayor Bones Proudly Presents Ghost Town’s 999th Annual Pumpkin Festival (Win/Mac/Linux). Carve pumpkins in 3D and show them off on the World Wide Web! “It’s simple, and it makes me very happy” (Polygon).

This was surprisingly fun and sweet. The other players are bedsheet ghosts with silly generated faces and are very cute how they swoop around. The pumpkins ranged from classic triangle eye/snaggle tooth to memes to complex geometric designs to kind messages to incomprehensible and everything in between. A+ would play again. My pumpkin is an owl on a branch in front of a full moon, please give it a like if you see it.
