"Yo, homeboy, are you hungry for some mad hip hop flava? Sink your grill-piece into Master P's Platinum Bar-B-Que. Want somethin' sweeter? Lil' Romeo's Bar-B-Quein' with Honey! If cheese is the flava you need, try Warren G's Cheezie Nacho!"
The most bizarre niche snack marketing since Arafat's cheese puffs.

At $9.99 per 1 lb. bag, you gotsta have some mad bling-bling to be eatin' those chips.

What? No Cheese Puff Daddy's? No Salt-n-Pepa-n-Vinega Chips? Tupac's For the Price of One Shakurs?

Is there a Google cache of the Arafat cheese puffs?

The scary thing is that this stuff sells -- and unfortunately, its target audience seems to enjoy littering. I see L'il Romeo chip bags strewn on the ground quite frequently in northwest DC...

This site has a photo collection of some other "Rap Snacks" bags.

I had never heard of Master(bator) P until I saw the gaudiest house ever on an accidental viewing of MTV Cribs. Earlier this year, I saw him at a Houston Rockets game with his family/entourage. The entire group was wearing what looked like seventies style velvet track suits. The women were wearing some kind of rags on their heads.

This is more proof that all the money in the world cannot buy taste or class.

GHETTO!!!

Actually, it's $9.99 for a case of 36 bags. But the text layout makes that a little hard to grasp.

Just in case anyone was wondering, here is what this fpp would have looked like if spell check had had its way:

"yon, homebody, are you hungry for some mad hip hop lava? Sink your grill-piece into Master hp's Platinum barbecue. Want something' sweeter? lilt' Romeo's barbecuing' with Honey! If cheese is the lava you need, try Warren G's cheesier Nacho!"
The most bizarre niche snack marketing since Karafuto's cheese puffs.

Thanks, PinkStainlessTail. I see the number of bags at the bottom.

However, fatbaq's post shows that the rap chip bags are 1 oz. each or 36 oz. (2.25 lbs) for a shipment. The shipping weight listed on the site is 1 lb. That arizathmatic ain't straight.

Well, I don't know about you, but cheese is the lava I need.

Granted, I'd probably be willing to try to get into one, if thongs featuring that image were all that was offered....

but in all seriousness, that would make a great t-shirt. I for one would be very much willing to make moral compromises in order to obtain said t-shirt.

What are the chances of it happening?
