Coors has never been a favorite of the liberals, both for their union-busting, their pollution, and the somewhat crypto-fascist politics of the older generation in the Coors family (let's just say that from where they stand, Reagan is an acceptable centrist flunky). Petey's OK, though. By comparison, if nothing else.
