Not one of Bob's shining moments ... Wonder if he has ever since looked into the matter beyond its superficial mythological appeal. I look forward to seeing what|if he writes about Hurricane Carter. Not that cheerleading for a petty thug and triple murderer diminishes Dylan's legitimate acheivements. And maybe he did re-evaluate his position, since since he hasn't played the song since January '76.
I still love Dylan and play the Hell out of several albums.
