The little guy made it! Yay!

Why do invertibrates always look like they're strange manifestations of some twisted fiction? posted by Jon-o at 7:25 AM on October 18, 2005

According to the movie Büvös vadász, the devil gets the first soul to cross a bridge, leading to an achingly long scene where villagers and devil alike wait for a snail to cross. posted by maxsparber at 10:38 AM on October 18, 2005
you got any websites about grass growing or paint drying? posted by crunchland at 11:44 AM on October 18, 2005
crunchland :"you got any websites about grass growing or paint drying?"
I have a couple of these as pets. I got them in spring when they were gumdrop-sized to keep the tadpole tank clean. The tadpoles grew up and I was left with these two gastropods, now both nearly fist-sized. They regularly escape now, creep about leaving trails, and I think they're responsible for the mysterious disappearance of a couple of goldfish I got to keep them company. I sleep with one eye open.
But what was I to do? "I'm downsizing, and no longer require the services of a snail," just doesn't seem right. posted by Wylie Kyoto at 12:30 PM on October 18, 2005
