I don't usually comment in my own posts (well, sometimes, but....not usually)..
However.. I just stopped by to say I love the muppets! My first son was born 3 months after Sesame Street aired in 1969. I spent YEARS and YEARS watching it with my two kids. Lots of good memories, we laughed, cried, sang, danced.. good stuff, good for all of us.

My kids have started watching Sesame Street and I'm slowly introducing them to clips of the Muppet Show. They're not really comprehending most of it yet, I think. But it's been fun watching their reactions to clips I remember from my childhood for the first time.

Incredible. No harm in a little Muppet evolution, but Waldorf and Statler have new voices? I didn't realize. I hope I don't notice now. Yeah, for the most part I love the new Muppets stuff; it's as good as anything they've done. But the Statler and Waldorf voices are just wrong. They really bug me. posted by EarBucket at 4:42 PM on April 11, 2010
