A dreamy animation about life, love, and loss. Un Tour de Manege (A Turn of the Gear) shows the journey of a girl from youth through adulthood.
Jeez, that was beautiful.
I've got a five-year-old daughter who is the center of my world, and lately it's like I have this heightened awareness of how quickly she's growing up, and how much more I need to savor every day. Stuff like this hits me hard.

And of course, because my soul is basically a bunch of Pop Rocks floating on a sea of bile, I immediately thought "The porn movie rip-off title for this one is easy--Un Tour de Ménage".

Beautiful, and perhaps better understood with a proper translation: "tour de manège" means "carousel ride".
