Can someone translate what I assume is his artist's statement in the video? Is it "I'm just this (bunch of) guy(s), you know?"

It reminds me of a similar project, but to photograph a street corner for some period of time, and the artist selected people or objects by color. It was posted on MetaFilter some while back, but I couldn't find it.

i agree, the ones in this series certainly do have a very similar uncanny-valley-ish vibe to them.

Rather, this looks like the previous thread that rude.boy mentioned, though the site is dead. That other link is the artist's general site, which lists Babel Tales in his collections.
