Canadians have a reputation for being whiners. I love Rick McGinnis.
I hate how valid complaints are seen as "whining" by everyone who isn't involved. In fact, I truly cannot stand the word "whiner". It has such a false and phony connotation to it, as if you can't speak your mind without being labelled the W-word. Bleah.

I just like the way he was able to drop into his screed the fact that he's related, by marriage, to Margaret Atwood. Now that's Canadian--conflicted boasting while poking his toe around in the "Canadian identity"...
