#6 looks like he's made out of the carpet he's walking on!

I am pretty sure all the stair puppies need me to give them snuggles for being such awesome dogs. Even if some of them aren't puppies any more. They were all so good at stairs!

There is always some terrible person to explain why dogs do the pedaling thing (they're panicking!) but mostly, dogs respond to our reactions -- we think it's cute so they think it's fun. I don't think that dog seems upset and I think a lot of times, dogs want to be like us and do what we do. Except, you know, they're dogs.

And all those little ferocious babies howling. Good pups.

One of the cutest things I've ever seen was a video of two dogs at the top of some stairs. One of them was kind of scared and looked like he couldn't figure out how to get down...so the other one, in a pretty clear "Here, you do it like this" display, trotted down the stairs and back up. He did this a few times until the other dog got the idea and/or courage and joined him at the bottom. Good dogs.

A baseball cap for a pupper? With floppy ear holes? Yup, that made my Friday.

This morning, as I refreshed the main page, I thought to myself, "Oh, God,I hope Johnny Wallflower has some good pups to share today." And, indeed, good pups these are.

Yeah, I wouldn't call myself a dog whisperer or anything, but it's hard to look at the pedaling dog's body language and see anything other than a relaxed, playful pup who's doing the weird arbitrary human thing 'cause the human is doing it. Having an actually panicking dog, even of that size, strapped to your chest while biking would be a very different experience.

I follow an instagram account of a woman in Seattle who fosters kittens. (no doubt many of you do, as well, I think it is the most popular foster kitten account on insta). It is a rite of passage for the kittens to learn to navigate the stairs in the most adorable way possible. This video is my all time favorite for so many reasons, not least of which is that Eli, once escaping and rolling down to the second step, feels the need to return to the top to begin his official descent, step by step.

This one? It's one of my all-time favorite things on the internet!

That's the one! I love seeing animals teach each other how to do stuff.

There's another one like that where the little dog is all "Holy crap! MIND. BLOWN." that I just love.

I like how the big dog waits til the little dog is down the stairs and then starts chewing on it lol...I have a dog like that. "You're jumping off the bed? Here, I will lie in wait to pounce on you..."
