RIP Bill Gold, designer of film posters including Casablanca, A Clockwork Orange, The Exorcist, and hundreds more.
Some serious favorites of mine in his portfolio, what an amazing career.

My dad worked with him over decades, and I so, so clearly remember him from when I'd hang out in my dad's office, when I was a kid. That tall dude with the crazy mustache, always laughing -- in my memory, anyway. That pic of him the bathtub sums up his personality to me. And the iconic status of so many of those posters! They're instantly recognizable, all these decades later.
