I was going to comment that this image of Debbie Harry was inspired by Ballard, but can't find support for this. Perhaps someone with Jedi-level Google-fu can weigh-in on this.

Debbie Harry starred in the David Cronenberg film Videodrome. Cronenberg later directed a film adaptation of Ballard's novel Crash, which these paintings seems to be at last partially inspired by.

Sorry, that's all I got.

Interesting, though, that "death" is represented in all of these by transportation accidents.
