Kentucky canoe outfit borrows photo of Trudeau family to market business. You might think the last thing you'd stumble onto on a rural road in central Kentucky is Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. But the owners of Mammoth Cave, Canoe, and Kayak decided to use a photograph of Trudeau and his family to promote their business.

I love that Trudeau's reflex reaction was A) to give out the correct information, and 2) to plug Canadian tourism.

When you combine this with the fact that Rand Paul is going to Canada for surgery, it becomes obvious that a massive conspiracy is afoot.

Laughing at the "1 mile on the left" arrow on the buildboard - more like "1000 miles north"

To be fair, Trudeau does appear randomly in caves, often shirtless. It's A Thing.

Sort of like the Jimmy Carter in a canoe getting attacked by a killer rabbit. Something about leaders of their countries and canoes.

To be fair, it's not the first time a canoe business has promoted itself with a photo of a Prime Minister Trudeau.

Those commas do not belong. The canoe people do not own Mammoth Cave.

The thing about Trudeau is that he strongly projects a "modern, non-toxic male" that so infuriates the right and has brought Gillette into the public discourse. So of course he's being relentlessly nice and thoughtful about this. The actions of his government toward Indigenous people may inspire doubts about the depth of that persona, but at the very least he's consciously aware that he's in a position to be a role model for other adult males and embraces that.
