Some of them have music, but it appears to be off by default (there's a toggle top right.) Sometimes it only plays when viewing relevant panels.

I like how the setting is slowly revealed, careful not to give up too much so as to keep you guessing. Social experiment, totalitarian regime aka 1984 meets Man in the Iron Mask, another planet entirely? All up for grabs at this point.
The time is the detail that catches my eye, definitely not your standard 60 minute/24 hour clock.

This is just the distraction from work I was looking for today. Of course, I had to make that time up later, but everything is fine.

This took up pretty much all of my morning commute, and I seriously contemplated sitting on a bench and getting to work late to finish it. I’m saving the rest for the ride home.
