Peculiarly his last album won't be released until June 2022.

Nearly 50 years active, and active right up until the end.

Provided much of the soundtrack to my inner space explorations in college, circa 1976-79. I don’t think he’s yet been properly recognized & constellatated for his contributions to electronic music.

Favorite albums: Mirage and Zehnte (‘X’).

Would love further album recommendations if knowledgeable people have them -- I seem to have about 5, but this is still like 10% of his output at best and I've never quite known where to go from there. I also love Pete Namlook so I'm wondering specifically if anyone has Dark Side of the Moog recommendations?

the master of the Berlin School -- to my ears anyway. I've never heard anyone trip the infinitely sequenced analog synthesis better, or more fantastic. Timewind (already posted) would be my immediate fave. Though Floating's the one that actually saved me once (my soul if not my life).

Also ... Klaus Schulze Live - WDR Köln 1977

And assuming it were to happen in an old European church (or some place equally gothic) I think I'd like Voices of Syn played at my funeral.

and two more recent pieces that I seem to be able to listen to over and over ...

Cellingua
Cum Cello Spiritu

both from The Cello, which among 49 other options, can be found in The Ultimate Edition

My favorite is probably Dark Side of the Moog VII.

This guy has plenty of opinions, if you want a second one.
