Wow! Thank you for posting this. My favourite from one of the newspaper clippings: 'A few months ago McLeod took a job in the cloakroom at the Left Bank... One night, searching for keys to the cabinet, McLeod had to scour through the contents of a ladies' handbag. "If there's anything I really miss since my operation," McLeod sighed, "it's pockets."'

What a great photo archive. I love original historic and vintage photography but it's great to see the colorized versions that bring subjects to life.

these are really wonderful! I love to see old photos of people, especially those with lives somewhat outside the "norm".
