Golden Klimt In 2015, on the occasion of the 23rd edition of the Life Ball in Vienna, photographer Inge Prader took incredible shots in tribute to the Golden Cycle of the Austrian symbolist painter Gustav Klimt using fashion models.

Another similar art project is the Nachtwacht360. Julius Rooymans found models who looked like the figures in Rembrandt’s massive Nightwatch painting and recreated costumes and props for them.

So much time and thought put into the materials, and yet they choose a thin model for Danaë (an artwork celebrating the thickness of her thighs). It is saddening.
