Re: open soda cans: you might think converting my front yard and 1/3rd of my backyard to native prairie garden would cause more issues with bees and wasps around food outdoors, but it has been the opposite. I have 1000x the pollinators in my yard than I did before, but now they have far better food sources to go after than the garbage nutritional value of my cola.
The flies are still bullshit, unless they are hoverflies, who are chill dudes who mimic bees and wasps in many species.
