The article fails to mention what kind of penguins these are. They are Little Penguins, the smallest of all penguin species, and are also known as fairy penguins, little blue penguins or blue penguins owing to their slate-blue plumage and are also known by their Māori name kororā.

As a trained biologist and son of a professional ornithologist, I'd also like to emphasize an important technical description of this species: they are freaking adorbs.
