Here's the urban dictionary definition. Basically, it's a derogatory term for someone who has been the recipient of a lot of penetrative sex; related phrases might be "ran a train on" and "made him/her my bitch."

In this context, "ran through" doesn't mean Daniel Craig has fucked too much, it just means something like worn out, spent, has given up or even just old, in line with definition 2 here for run through. How much the meaning here is via run through versus via the sexual meaning of ran through, later generalized, is a question for the linguists.

I always thought 'run through' was what happened in sword fighting, 'sadly he was run through during the battle', but English seems riven with sword metaphors that carry innuendo, I recall Boris referred to as a swordsman and not for actions in war.

Yes. It's the same idea for sure, and with the same connotations where the person being talked about is the one who was on the passive/receiving end of the "riding."
