Need more stress? Tired of flying under the Golden Gate Bridge with Flight Simulator? Is the thrill gone with your favorite hack 'em up role playing game? Give up coffee, cigarettes, and heroin for new thrills by simulating "the government's dullest bureaucracy." You too can be an air traffic controller! from Wired

For the life of me I can't find out if they simulate being fired by Ronald Reagan.

and if that floats your boat, you can turn that puppy into a career. I mean, if Billy Bob can do it...

cool link. i've always been really intimidated by flight sims -- even in the ones on my old c64 i could never manage to get the darn thing off the ground (which means i could never do, clearly, what flight simulators are designed for -- running planes nose first into mountains, trees, and elementary schools).

anyhow, this page doesn't make me any less intimidated, but i bet if i liked flight simulators i'd think this was really really freaking cool.

i'm considering joining anyhow, as apparently they've got folks who like to train others, and shoot, could you imagine me as an air traffic controller? (or maybe a judge? i like judge. or maybe sheriff.)

I have a feeling that hobby also simulates remaining a virgin until age 35.

Good lord, I keep thinking that this Internet thing is going to run out of niche interests and it just keeps chugging away. Virtual Airlines indeed!
