fredo rocks. if you like this, make sure to check out more of his work (linked from that page), which is uniformly excellent.

also, on behalf of the fine folks hosting this video at panicnow.net: "it's my server...PLEASE BE KIND!" (my site's hosted there too, so don't break it, mefi!)

Yes, I'm sure JdG is sweating. Please be kind. Maybe someone could mirror it?

That's a really beautiful video.

I have to indulge myself---I love picking out objects and landmarks in music videos (f'r'instance I would have loved to know what some of the cities in that Michel Gondry video posted a while back were).

It's clear that some of the video was recorded on one of those MTA commuter rail trains---it goes through a station named "Scarborough" (I don't know much about the NYC area, never having lived there).

Also, his bike handlebars look an awful lot like the ones that belong to my own Specialized hybrid.

Fredo lives in woodstock, NY. It's cool to see em411ers here? Check out em411 for a lot of free and often brilliant music and one of the best online communities anywhere.

That's really incredible. Clever use of such a low-tech method to make a great video. I just bought a CD off the dude.

Wowee, this took forever to load and quit almost just before the end but I saw plenty that made me just freakin' amazed.

I'd link to him but I don't want to kill his bandwidth. Utterly incredible.

Awesome. I was a bit distracted by the fact that I was looking up his nose the whole time, but an amazing piece of work nonetheless. : )

Wow!

And here I thought the video feature on digital cameras (and on the Nikon 775 in particular, as I also had one) was useless. That was frickin' brilliant!

This Fredo is going to support that Fredo with a CD purchase.

That was amazing. I think the more impressive thing really though was the editing.

I actually had an idea to this a while ago, but have no worthy subject. I had suggested it to a friend in a band too, and we even briefly tossed around ideas I think.
