Btw- the thing above was supposed to be a a brilliantly funny elephant boy graphic- however, I'm apparently a dumb newbie, and Metafilter is confounding me a bit. Someday I'll discover how to delete comments and everything!

When my brother was a baby he had a stuffed elephant that he carried with him everywhere. He couldn't say "elephant" yet, so he called it a "fenten".
I figure this is as good a place to relate that story as any.
