King me

Like checkers meets Blade Runner, Quadradius is draughts with powerups Well, with no diagonal motion or jumping, but they're checker-shaped and "Parcheesi meets Neuromancer" didn't have that ring. Pretty sure it's flash.
Darn, one game would take a while. My opponent quit after about 10 minutes; we had each captured only 3 pieces. I was just starting to figure out some strategy to use against him, too!

Yeah, it is a time sink... I'm playing as Klang Guest if you see me.

This is quite interesting. Sadly, my first opponent was extremly unpleasant. As it was my first time playing the game, I took a little while before moving. This led to much abuse.
Still, I'm definitely going to give it another go.

Just a heads up... Does't work on corporate networks with pretty much everything but port 80 (and a couple others) blocked...

I got spanked pretty bad, and I loved it. Maybe the 2nd life police'll get on me for this but I don't care.

Man, I just got totally destroyed. I had this elaborate plan and everything, and then my opponent uses "bomb" and turns everything into utter shit. Just like real life.

Quite a bit of randomness. Too much so for it to be satisfying... one luckily placed power-up can end the whole game.
Might work better if the games were about a tenth as long as they are; that way it'd feel less depressing to see a complicated strategy go down in a hail of bombs. Just like real life.

Yep, that was a fun time sink. Think it would be more fun with a smaller playing field, fewer pieces. . .

This would be a more fun if the board was 2/3 the size and you only had half as many pieces. It takes way too long as is.

This is good. It's got Checkers simplicity, Go strategy and enough randomness and explosions to make it fun. Before I knew it I had spent two hours on this.

jaysus chris-- oh, cool, yes.
Well played, sir. Consider this the equivalent of a handshake.

I just finished my first game against quadog. We ended up with one piece each, and after I'd tripwired his/her last, I returned to my safe spot and smiled broadly. What an awesome game--we spent at least an hour playing.

cool, but a bit too random. my opponent got 3 jump-proofs versus none for me, and I had picked up more power ups than he had up until that point. that game was sooo mine until he got the second jump proof.

I think my final analysis is about the same as juv3nal's - cool and fun for a while, but waaaay too random.
