Twitter for the analog set

Does Twitter move a little too fast for you? Maybe Dawdlr is more your speed. The lovechild of PostSecret and the web-app-everyone-loves-to-hate, postcards sent in are scanned and posted twice a year. Next update? November 21st.

Finally, something that works at the same speed as I do.

Lovely experiment. I'll have to send him something.

Oh, I'll just procrastinate until November 20th like I do every year.

This is awesome, mainly because I hate Twitter so, so much. Maybe I'll get around to sending in a postcard.

I can't wait to find out what cortex is doing.

It'll be interesting to see how this pans out: the people who will find the concept most appealing are the people least likely to bother their arses sending in a postcard.

I mean, I really want to send something in, but it'll take at least three years for me to get around to it.

I'm, uh, sending him a postcard.

Oh. I see. That saves me a lot of waiting around. Thanks.

I can't decide if I should put it in my RSS feed, or just set a reminder in my calendar to check the site on Nov. 21st.

Well, anything for the enviornment, ico. The humorsphere must be preserved.

I think I'll game the system by printing my Twitter archive on a postcard and sending that in.

But isn't the question worth considering? If you only had one opportunity every six months to contribute something to a 'conversation', and then only at the length of a postcard, what would you say?

It seems like my birthdate gets mentioned alot around here. I did a search for Nov 21st and got 899 results, but I got zero results for Nov 20st and Nov 22st.

November 21st is the new number 23.

Also, 8+9+9 is 26, which is 21+5, 5 being the number of months November is from the direct middle of the year.

Isn't there a joke about monks like this?
